I really would go on at least one date before deciding on going steady
with anyone! Ask a girl you like if they would do you the honour of
letting you buy them a Starbucks/McD's/Whatever. Ask a few questions
about hem like you were researching their biography, and from that you
can decide whether she's worth dating. If it goes well arrange another
date, and take it date by date.
